We also looked a different techniques for persuasion in magazines. I tore mine up because I thought that was what everyone else was doing. So now I owe Mary a new magazine. We looked for things like humor, friends, family, fun, nature, sex, cartoons, celebrity and wealth. It was easy to find most of this.
Finally we made a salad and took photographs. It's hard for three people to really all be actively involved in make a salad so I didn't do much. I was a little more involved in touching up the photo. We didn't do much to it since I don't think any of us was too comfortable with Photoshop. It was very interesting to see what the other groups did. It did make me more aware of how food is presented in advertisements.
